A Boeing-738-800 plane with 162 people on board performed an emergency landing at an airport in Russia’s Siberian city of Novosibirsk in the early hours of Monday, emergencies services said.
The plane, operated by Russia’s Globus airline, was en route from Moscow to the Far Eastern city of Yakutsk when the crew heard an engine failure alarm and made a decision to land the aircraft, the report said.
The plane landed at the Tolmachyovo Airport at 03:53 am local time (20:53 GMT).
There were 155 passengers and seven crew members on board. No one was reported hurt.
