After the horror of the recent viral video of a Boeing 747 cargo plane falling from the sky, here’s some amazing plane-crash footage with a happy ending.
Shortly after taking off near Fairbanks in Alaska, a pilot experienced engine failure in a small Beechcraft Bonanza.
As we can see from the three onboard cameras, he does a breathtaking job of bringing the aircraft in for a crash landing, angling the plane in gracefully over trees, roads and green fields.
Finally he glides in — just barely — over a small body of water and sets the Beechcraft down deftly in a field with nary but a slight thump.
Then he presumably walked away and headed for the nearest bar.
