Cougar Helicopters flight 441 made an emergency landing at St. John’s airport this afternoon around 3:30.
Details on the nature of the emergency are unknown as of this time, however there are unconfirmed reports of issues with the aircraft’s landing gear.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene as a precaution.
Another of the company’s aircraft left St. John’s just before 3 p.m. to escort flight 441 safely back to the airport.
