Emergency dispatchers say a small plane crashed this afternoon near the area of White Oak Road and Freysville Road in Windsor Township.
There were initially reports that the pilot made an emergency landing for medical reasons. The wing of the aircraft was damaged.
York Area Regional Police are on the scene and the FAA is en route to investigate.
Authorities say the pilot, John Stone, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was released from the hospital and is doing OK.
York Area Regional police responded to the incident.
No injuries were reported.
