A small Learjet crashed in a field in the city of Toluca, outside of Mexico City on Wednesday, killing all onboard.
Local media had conflicting reports of the number of dead, some saying a pilot and co-pilot were killed while others also reported a third person also died in the crash.
The small jet crashed near the Toluca International Airport some 200 metres from the runway. It had been en route to the central state of Durango.
Twitter user @R10lalo caught video of the accident site shortly after the plane went down showing the plane in pieces and engulfed in flames (see above).
Still photos showed emergency crew on the scene controlling the flames.
Officials have not yet commented on the cause of the crash.
