OLATHE, Kan. – A small plane appears to have made a crash landing in a field near 175th Street and U.S. 169.
One person sustained a minor cut to his arm. Three people were on board at the time.
Johnson County Sheriff’s Department officials said it was a wheels-up emergency landing. The plane’s propeller was damaged but there was no serious damage to the plane.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating and the FAA is expected to investigate, as well.
