KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Southwest Airlines flight had to make an unusually fast landing at KCI Tuesday afternoon after it reported issues with a wing flap.
Southwest Flight 530, inbound to Kansas City from Houston, reported issues with the wing flap mechanism that slows the plane down during landing.
Kansas City fire crews were called to that airport to monitor the plane’s landing.
Officials with KCI confirm that plane was able to land safely around 5:30 p.m. with no injuries to those on board.
