News Plane incidents — 12 July 2017

A plane was forced to land in the Everglades Wednesday around noon.

The news Chopper was over the scene where you could see a plane, fully intact.

Two people were seen, seemingly unharmed, standing by the plane.

Around 12:20 p.m., rescue crews could be seen arriving.

It is unclear what problem they encountered that forced them to land.

Other News: Small Plane Makes Rough Landing on Dirt Road in Broward

A small plane was forced to make a rough landing on a dirt road near Everglades Holiday Park in Broward County Wednesday.

The plane landed on the road west of Pembroke Pines and northwest of the park.

Footage showed the back end of the plane off the road and two people who were on board standing nearby.

Pembroke Pines Police and the Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter also responded.

Officials said no one was injured. No other information was immediately known.
