A private jet owned by Iceland Foods made an emergency landing this afternoon.
The Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 605 plane took off this afternoon from Hawarden Airport at 2.14pm.
Shortly after take-off, warning lights went off indicating there was an issue with the plane’s landing gear.
This saw the pilot turn back towards the airstrip with emergency response teams alerted there was an issue.
After circling close to the airport for around 20 minutes the plane landed safely at 2.42pm.
A spokesman for Iceland Foods said the plane only had crew on board and was flying to pick up passengers when the alert was raised.
He said the plane had landed safely and no one had been injured.
