He was a son of Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who briefly was Saudi Arabia’s crown prince from January to April 2015.

Prince Aziz was the second Saudi royal to die in the last two days after Prince Mansour bin Muqren was killed Sunday when a helicopter crashed near the kingdom’s southern border with war-torn Yemen.

Trump’s comments came few hours after he urged the Saudi authorities to list the Saudi Arabian Oil Co. on the New York Stock Exchange during a phone call between the world leaders, Bloomberg notes. “Earlier, Mansour, son of the former crown prince Muqrin, was also declared dead”, he tweeted on Monday.

The statement simply says that the Royal Court mourns the loss of Prince Abdul Aziz, but it does not give a cause of death. The circumstances surrounding the Prince Aziz’s death were not shared but according to some sources, he either died in custody or during his arrest.

At Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque, Prince Ahmad and Prince Muqrin were received by Prince Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region.
